Community Gardens - Living Well program
Come along and learn how to set up a community garden and discover the values that a community garden can bring to your neighbourhood. Since Australia's first community garden in 1977, the gardening trend has caught on, and now there are dozens of community gardens in every state. Community gardening can provide a wide range of gardening techniques and practical experiences to educate and inform your community about sustainability and horticulture whilst promoting social interaction between all sectors of the community. Workshops are free and bookings are essential.
