More Go Noosa transport options for Christmas
|
Discounted ferry passes and dedicated ‘Drop and Go’ zones are the latest addition to Council’s expanded Go Noosa program this festive season.
It’s in addition to the popular free Loop Bus and TransLink buses which return on 12 December and will continue through until January 26.
Mayor Clare Stewart said it was fantastic that Noosa Ferries had come on board these holidays to offer locals and visitors an alternative option to get around town at a discounted rate.
“Travelling along our beautiful Noosa River has got be one of the best transport options anywhere in the world,” Cr Stewart said.
“It’s also another way to reduce the number of vehicles on our roads during the peak holiday season, which is what the Go Noosa program is all about. Read more.

Noosa residents and businesses can now better prepare for a natural disaster, with the release of the shire’s first Emergency Action Guide.
Council and the Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) produced the 55-page guide, to provide residents with advice to prepare for, respond to, and recover from, disaster events.

Christmas Convoy a hit
|
Thanks to everyone who made our Connecting Noosa Christmas Convoy such a great success.
It was great to see so many parents and kids on their driveways cheering on the Convoy, made up of emergency services personnel, Council staff and of course Santa.
Supported by Cricks Noosa and HOT91 it was a memorable way to bring people together after a tough year and salute our emergency services for their hard work during 2020 and last year’s fires. See our Facebook page for pictures and video.
